Meet the Teachers!
Ms. Borleis was a long-term substitute at LRHS during the 2013-2014 school year and is now officially full time! She is a Towson University grad having earned both her Bachelors (2012) and Masters (2019) in Art Education and is certified to teach Art from PreK-12. She teaches Art I and all Photography classes. Her favorite focuses in art (besides photography) include illustration, painting, and printmaking. She also enjoys graphic design and even has an etsy shop and blog! Ms. Bulkowski-Larsen is a National Board Certified Teacher who has taught secondary visual arts teacher in Maryland public schools since 1987. She earned her B.A. in art history and studio art from Oberlin College and completed most of her graduate work at George Washington University. She enjoys teaching beginning students to draw and helping advanced students develop their artwork to reflect a personal voice. She is also the sponsor for the National Art Honor Society. LRHS Visual Arts Department is excited to welcome Ms. Leatherman to the fold. A graduate from Maryland Institute of Art (MICA), Ms. Leatherman teaches Art I here at the Reach. She enjoys creating artist inspired sock monkeys, My Little Pony, and her two dogs (lovably known as turds).
